Technical Partnership with the Hangzhou Jinjiang Group for Large-Scale Polarizing Film

Nitto Denko Corporation (Head Office: Osaka City; President: Hideo Takasaki; hereafter “Nitto”) has entered into a technical partnership contract with Hangzhou Jinjiang Group Company Ltd. (Head Office: Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China; Chairman: Dou Zheng Gang) and its affiliated companies, to provide technological support in response to increased demand in mainland China for large-scale polarizing film used in LCD TVs. Through this technical partnership, Nitto will assist the Hangzhou Jinjiang Group in introducing one of the world’s largest front end polarizing film facilities in China.

Contract period: 　Maximum five years
Technological support fee: 　Maximum 15 billion yen
Target area: 　Mainland China
Target technology: large-scale polarizing film mainly for use in TVs
