New ads linked to Nitto ATP Finals placed in UK and Japan

Nitto Denko Corporation (Head office: Osaka, President: Hideo Takasaki; hereinafter, Nitto) will place advertising in each region for the duration of the “Nitto ATP Finals” – the season-ending matches of the ATP World Tour being held from November 12th (Sunday) to 19th (Sunday).

Two visual types have been developed

Nitto Everywhere
Related to the Nitto ATP Finals, this ad conveys how Nitto innovation can be just about anywhere in the world. A tennis ball is used to represent the earth, expressing how Nitto’s technologies and products support everyone’s comfortable and fruitful lives from unseen places.

For All Those Aiming for the Top
“Aiming for the top.” The players all compete aiming to be the top at the Nitto ATP Finals, which overlaps with Nitto’s stance of striving to be the best under its Global Niche Top strategy. Scenes in which Nitto’s technologies and products are used and competing players are projected on the rackets.

Company Booths in the Nitto ATP Finals Venue

Photo booths where commemorative pictures can be taken with a monument that features tennis ball-based advertising as a motif or with a trophy are set up at the O2 Arena, where the Nitto ATP Finals is held in. Original face stickers for the competition that use Nitto’s gentle-on-the-skin adhesive technologies are also distributed to promote the Nitto ATP Finals.

The Nitto ATP Finals is the year-end climax to the men's professional tennis season, featuring only the world's best eight qualified singles players and doubles teams as they battle it out for the last title of the season. Players compete for Emirates ATP Rankings points throughout the season in a bid to earn one of the eight coveted berths and a chance to win the biggest indoor tennis tournament in the world. Played using a round-robin format, each player plays three matches as they compete for a berth in the knockout semi-finals and beyond. The prestigious tournament has been contested in major cities around the world with a rich history dating back to the birth of The Masters in 1970 in Tokyo. Since 2000 the event has taken place in cities such as Lisbon, Sydney, and Shanghai. In 2009 the tournament was moved to London, where it will be played through 2020.
