Position: Business Analyst/Project Manager

The Business Analyst/Project Manager will elicit and define business requirements that will translate into software development yielding significant systemic efficiencies throughout Nitto America.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Interact with internal and external users at all levels of the organization to elicit and define business requirements related to process improvement initiatives and or business needs.
2. Utilizing business/technical acumen and skilled communication, create business requirements documentation (BRD) and functional requirements documentation (FRD) to be used by internal IT partners.
3. Interact extensively between internal IT development staff and business departments in developing technical solutions that are efficient and satisfactory to both the respective business and the process reengineering group.
4. Manage a project portfolio of process improvement engagements that focus on functional and production areas.
5. Create various project pipeline reports to senior managers and other stakeholders.
6. Conduct timely meetings with project stakeholders regarding project issues, milestones, and accomplishments.
7. Development of project plans (utilizing Microsoft Project or other acceptable application) for each assigned project that will track all milestones, resources, costs and other defined attributes at project start.
8. Monitor the execution of activities in accordance with the project requirements.
9. Ensure that project deliverables are managed according to the established schedule and that the appropriate communication channels are established.
10. Ensure that necessary resources are available throughout all stages of the project lifecycle and allocate new or current resources as needed.
11. Assist all BPR team members in conducting Business Process Reengineering training seminars to corporate/functional audiences of varying levels.
12. Collaborate with BPR team in developing metrics for each of the respective business units that are effective, measurable, and attainable.
13. Handles special projects as requested by Manager.
Education and Experience:
• BA/BS degree in Business, Operations, Management, Science, or related technical field. Master’s degree a plus.
• 7+ years in Business Analysis
• 7+ years of experience in Project Management
• 7+ years of Program Management experience
• 7+ years of JD Edwards application experience
Computer Skills:
• MS Office Suite – Intermediate level
• MS Project
• MS Visio
• Proficient in applications of JD Edwards software
