Nitto Denko Corporation（headquarter: Osaka, Japan, President: Hideo Takasaki, hereafter Nitto）has completed the acquisition of all shares of four of Mondi’s companies, according to the news release “Regarding Acquisition of Personal Care Components Business of Mondi (to Make It a Subsidiary)” of February 17th, 2022. Starting today, the companies are continuing as a new organization named “Advanced Film Solutions Division”, carrying on the personal care business and its business with its subsidiaries.
Nitto accelerates the creation of new products and services by strategically devoting resources to Nitto’s three focus domains: Information Interface, Next-generation Mobility, and Human Life. With the addition of the newly acquired business foundation, and through Nitto’s unique “Niche Top” strategy, the company will strengthen its efforts in expanding human life solutions, which support good health and well-being on a global scale.
