Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the people affected by the torrential rains that struck wide parts of western Japan.
After completing a check on the safety of our employees, we have confirmed that there were no personal injuries. Although we did not experience any damage to our plants or equipment, a water outage has hindered production at our Onomichi Plant (Onomichi-city, Hiroshima). We will be taking steps to ensure that we are able to swiftly resume production after water service is restored. According to an announcement by the Hiroshima Prefectural Government, water service is expected to be restored on Monday, July 16.
