Job Description:
Position: Manager, Human Resources
Location: Jasper, AL
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Annual Salary Range: $70k - $78k
You will provide HR leadership to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of Jasper, AL site by ensuring productive employee relations, the right people are in the right roles at the right time (staffing and talent acquisition) workforce planning and headcount reporting, harmonizing and executing policies, programs and practices with other Nitto locations including performance management, local compensation, employee development, payroll, corporate philosophy, corporate social responsibility, and EHS (environmental health and safety). Job includes supervisory responsibilities, for one employee in the HR department in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education:
BS/BA in Management, Human Resources or equivalent; Five (5) or more years’ experience in Human Resources with increasing supervisory responsibilities and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with ADP workforce Now and SuccessFactors preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office 365; Strong skill in Excel – Intermediate to advanced preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
SHRM - CP certification a plus.

3. Proven client management and business literacy skills.
4. Multi-site location business unit support experience a plus.
5. Ability to exhibit international perspective with sensitivity for cultural and language differences.
