Nitto to participate in Milan Design Week 2021 for the first time

Nitto to participate in Milan Design Week 2021 for the first time

Nitto Denko Corporation (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President, CEO & COO: Hideo Takasaki; “Nitto”, hereafter) will participate in Milan Design Week, the world’s largest furniture and design event, for the first time, presenting its new technology, RAYCREA, from September 5 to 10, 2021.

Nitto continues to create value for its customers by developing new ideas under its brand slogan, “Innovation for Customers”. During these ever-changing times, RAYCREA was developed as a light control technology, enabling new forms of light expression, which have the power to create new excitement and surprise. When applied to a glass or acrylic panel, a transparent RAYCREA film guides the light from the source, making the surface glow. Capturing light and color on its surface, RAYCREA opens up new possibilities for surface lighting and will be presented for the first time at Milan Design Week.
Through three areas, “Play with Light”,” Light is Material” and “Light in Architecture”, the “Search for Light” exhibition introduces the expressions and possibilities of RAYCREA. This exhibition, produced with creation partner Kaoru Mende, is bound to inspire both your imagination and creativity.
