· Manage the Sales Engineering Team by ensuring the correct and consistent cost estimation and relevant process required are followed. Recommends the implementation of systems to help in this process.
· Create annual budget and mid-term plan for the Converting Business based on the company and Business unit direction.
· Improve the estimation / cost management functions to expand sales of Nitto automotive products by reducing the lead time to provide quote with correct standard costs and accurate product master information.
· Improve and maintain mold process design.
· Create the capex budget and manage the Capex process.
· Oversee the maintenance and management of estimates, cost management by each account/customer for Tier products: 665, 5,000 items.
· Balance mid/long term vision with short-term objectives to achieve the budget.
· Communicate with other department members on a regular basis to understand their current challenges and take proper actions to assist them.
· Preparation of estimated prices, based on analysis of competitor, customers, and company capabilities. Consult with local staff, Japanese stakeholders, and the sales department to build a consensus among them and respond to customers.
· Ensure indirect sales Hit ratio target and profit target are met.
· Meet objectives to increase sales and profits.
· Domestic travel - approx. 2 weeks/yearrequired.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related
· 1 year of experience in job offered or related
· 1 year of experience includes knowledge of EPT sealers, double sided tape, and SPV Films
