The Nitto Group continues to enhance its corporate value with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) at the core of its management, while aiming to realize a more sustainable environment and society. As part of the partnership with the Nitto ATP Finals, and with the aim to contribute to a better global environment and society, Nitto organized the "Future Wish Tree" activity. During the 2022 Nitto ATP Finals, at Nitto’s promotional booth, being set up in a fan village area adjacent to the tournament venue, visitors were invited to write their wishes for the future on leaf-shaped cards and to attach them to of cardboard trees’ branches.
As a result, Nitto planted more than 1,000 trees, as many as the wishes, which were left by visitors during the Nitto ATP Finals.

From May 2023, the trees, such as Red Maples, were planted at Gia Lai Province in Vietnam

About the Nitto ATP Finals

The Nitto ATP Finals is the capstone event of the men’s professional tennis season, where the world’s best 8 singles players and best 8 doubles teams compete for the final championship title of the season. Players compete for the Pepperstone ATP Ranking points throughout the season to earn one of the eight coveted places in the draw. Played using a round-robin format, each participant plays three matches as they compete to reach the knockout semi-finals and beyond. This tournament has a rich history as it was held in several of the world’s biggest cities, with the first edition held in Tokyo in 1970. From the year 2000, the ATP Finals has been held in Lisbon, Sydney, Shanghai and London, while 2021 marked its first year in Turin, Italy.
