Our 16 mil polyurethane moisture barrier tape, with 2 mil adhesive, is an essential product for use in the manufacturing of aircraft/rotorcraft in the Aerospace industry. Typically used on floor panels creating a barrier to prevent moisture and or liquids from being able to cause corrosion to the aircraft/rotorcraft body. The liner and high elongation allows for ease of use while the white color assists with easy identification. AA116 also meets burn test FAR 25.853 making it a must have for moisture barrier applications.

Application

Designed for use on the floor panels for air and rotary craft to prevent corrosion by creating a barrier. Also warranted for use where the passing of burn test FAR 25.853 is required.

Precaution

Surface should be clean, free of oil, moisture and dirt before applying. Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes may require pressure by roller, hand or press when applying. Not doing so may affect the general properties and appearance. Please inspect your surface prior to application; this tape may not adhere well to extremely uneven or distorted surfaces. Please remember to allow adequate time for full adhesive strength.

GENERAL STORAGE CONDITIONS
Best stored between 50°F-80ºF / 10°C-27ºC, 25-50% relative humidity; out of direct sunlight.
