The uninstallation of the printer driver fails.

The printer driver is not uninstalled successfully under the following conditions.

  1. When there is a pending printing job
  2. When the printer and printer driver are communicating

1. When there is a pending printing job

The uninstallation of the printer driver fails when there is print data in the computer such as when the printer is printing, when there is a pending printing job, or when the computer fails to acquire printer information from the printer driver.

  1. Shut down the printer.
  2. Go to [Start] menu - [Control Panel] - [Printers and Faxes], right click [NITTO DURA-SF-600], and select [Cancel All Documents].
  3. Confirm all print data has been deleted, and uninstall the printer driver.

2. When the printer and printer driver are communicating

Even if there is no print data in the computer, the printer and printer driver may be communicating. In this case, uninstallation fails.

  1. Shut down the printer.
  2. Uninstall the printer driver.
