1996Onomichi plant begins operation ;
Forms Nitto Medical Corp.(Now called Nitoms, Inc.);
Begins production of printed wiring material for HDD (use for wireless suspension) ;

2014 Forms Nitto (Qingdao) Technology Research Institute, Co.,Ltd.
2016 Forms Nitto Biopharma, Inc.;
Opens "inovas", a facility for R&D and human resource development in Ibaraki, Osaka.
2017 Receives Prime Minister’s Prize for invention of manufacturing method for ultra-thin polarizing film.;
