Mr. Stefan Maussen, managing director

Mr Stefan Maussen started his career within the Nitto Group in February 2019 as Managing Director of Nitto Belgium NV. Mr Maussen built over 22 years of experience in the Tier 1 Automotive Industry in which he held various positions. Mr Maussen started at SML NV, a subsidiairy of Ferrostaal Automotive GmbH, as a quality and project engineer shifting into project and operational management ending up taking the position of Managing Director as of 2012. During his career he was leading various important investment and transformation programs supporting the expansion of the company and developing new services. In the period 2012 – 2015 Mr Maussen managed a major restructuring program of SML NV. As of 2018 he also took the assignment of Branch Director for Rhenus Automotive in Saarlouis, Germany.

Ms. Hilde Van Autgaerden, director

Hilde Van Autgaerden joined Nitto Belgium in 2004 as project manager after a career with increasing responsibilities at the Picanol Group. In her role as project manager she supported the manufacturing department in growing towards autonomous teams and world class manufacturing. She had the opportunity to lead several projects within the company of which the SAP implementation between 2010 and 2013 was the most challenging one. In 2013 she became the manager of the Operations Planning & Control, a department that connects the commercial and operational part of the company. On top of this responsibility she led a project team towards the successful installation of a unique production line: the M-line. Today, Hilde Van Autgaerden is the general manager of the Operational Excellence department. She joined the board of directors of Nitto Belgium in 2021 as the first female director.

Ms. Hanne Reijnders, director

Hanne Reijnders joined Nitto Belgium in February 2018 as a controlling manager, after a career of 7 years at Deloitte. As an external auditor, she could build up experience in different sectors and industries, trying to understand the core of the business and identifying risks and opportunities from financial point of view. During her career at Deloitte, she grew her interest in manufacturing companies as audit manager for multiple international players in the manufacturing landscape.
Hanne started her career at Nitto in Finance as a Business Controller for the business unit Base. After 1 year, she stepped into the role of controlling manager and finally grew to the position of Finance manager, also taking the accounting team under her wings. She is leader for J-sox, managing the compliance and guiding the company through the internal audit process. As from 2022, she has been taking up the additional role of D&I area promotor for EMEA. In April 2023, Hanne has joined the board of directors of Nitto Belgium, being one of the youngest board members in the EMEA region.

Mr. Steven Bruninx, director

Steven Bruninx became Director Corporate Strategy & Legal Affairs of Nitto EMEA NV in 2017 after holding various legal positions in the Nitto organization since 2008. His activity is focused on Risk management and Mid-term planning of the Nitto organisation in the EMEA region. In relation to mid-term planning he seeks to address Nitto EMEA’s challenges in terms of growth, digitalization and sustainability. After studying Law at the Universities of Leuven, Antwerp (BE) and Lund (SE), he worked as a lawyer-trainee and legal consultant for Deloitte. He concurrently held positions as a guest lecturer at the universities of Leuven and Brussels. From 2010 to 2012, he was a guest professor at the University of Vietnam.

Mr. Daisuke Uno, director

Mr. Daisuke Uno started his career in the Nitto Group in 1998 within the sales department. He was marketing manager for Consumer Electronics, Mobile and Automotive market at Nitto Denko Hong Kong for 8 years after which he returned to Japan to take up several functions with increasing responsibility. In 2022 he moved to Germany to take up the function of Director EMEA Business Sector.
